Results & Reports

At Shield Road, we are very proud of what our children achieve. They are hard working, happy and conscientious. Our children, on average, leave Shield Road with strong attainment in reading, writing and maths. High quality teaching and provision enables pupils to make good progress.

Our broad and balanced curriculum provides opportunities for all children to demonstrate their strengths and talents which in turn supports high self-esteem. The highly experienced and dedicated staff work hard to develop and enhance learning opportunities to ensure that our curriculum is stimulating and fun! Staff constantly assess the children’s learning and ensure the children recognise and then achieve their next steps in learning.

We are a school where children can aim high and achieve their goals, whilst becoming independent and responsible individuals.  Most of all we want our children to enjoy their time at Shield Road and experience as many different opportunities as they can to allow them to become confident and well rounded people.

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.
