Sports Premium Impact Report 2023/24

We currently receive funding for PE and Sport Premium.

When deciding how to use PE and Sport funding we take into account a wide range of factors including the context of the school and many of the challenges that the children may face. These may include: wide range of abilities in sport and physical activity, resources available in school, levels of competence of Teachers in delivery of PE and Sport lessons. There are many complex factors that may prevent children flourishing and so we look at a wide range of support to meet these challenges.

The main use of the money has been to increase pupil participation in PE and to increase the competence of staff teaching PE.

Another focus is to provide staff with the correct resources to be able to teach the PE curriculum to its full potential and also provide opportunities through extra- curricular activities for physical activity.
