Shield Road Election
Shield Road General Election
June 9th 2017
Congratulations to JS who was elected as Prime Minister of Shield Road on June 9th.
The Star party achieved a successful majority beating rival parties - The Red Shields, The Red Roses party and the Beastie Party.
JS was congratulated by Mr Mepham in assembly on Friday. Amongst the Star Party’s policies were more money for hospitals, more sport and fitness opportunities for children and the reintroduction of fidget spinners!!!!
JS, from Willow class, is one of the youngest politicians in the school but achieved a magnificent victory and captured the younger voters.
The election was well organised by a group of year 6 children. The votes were all accurately counted. All the parties delivered excellent manifesto’s and fought very fair campaigns. There were some persuasive speeches in assembly.
The Prime Minister is looking to create a strong and stable school that strives to be outstanding!
