What a fantastic first term we had!

We started this second term by finding out more about insects.....

	Some of the children were interested in looking for insects in our garden area. We found more insects when we were doing some weeding. We looked closely at them and discussed our observations.
	We created images of spider webs. First we drew a web with crayon and then we dribbled glue on top of the crayon lines. Finally we sprinkled glitter over the glue.
	We are learning to count, read and write numbers. The children have lots of different opportunities to practise writing and recognising numbers.
	In our outdoor learning areas the children have different daily challenges that they are independently involved in. The children love building different structures. We have been building tall, long and short models. We have greatly enjoyed comparing their heights with the heights of their models.
